One place to get support for what you’re facing, learning, or reaching for. HUE brings housing, health care, mental health, education, economic stability, and community support together. We’re putting that model to work with Members today and building the infrastructure to carry it further.

Systems have documented our lives, studied our communities, collected our stories, and still built responses that do not reflect how people actually live.
Separate agencies. Separate forms. Separate waiting lists. Separate people asking you to explain your life from the beginning, again.
That is not invisibility. The system saw the pieces and still left people to carry the whole.
We exist to build differently.
The System Has Boxes. We Don't.
We serve everyone, but we are built from the knowledge and realities of The Disregarded—people whose lives systems have seen, documented, studied, or used while still failing to respond to how they actually live.
Black and Brown communities. LGBTQ+ communities. People living with or at risk for HIV. People affected by incarceration, foster care, behavioral health systems, housing instability, trauma, grief, or rejection by faith communities.
These are not separate populations living separate lives. You do not have to leave any part of yourself at the door here.

Founder-Led Perspective
HUE carries the knowledge of a Black founder who has lived inside the systems he is working to change.
Our Founder
We’re led by our Founder & Executive Director, Khalil Noah Scott.
Raised in group homes, foster homes, and behavioral health facilities. Adopted by his grandmother at sixteen. A survivor of the criminal legal system. Living with HIV. Homeless as an adult in 2024.
Every Pathway we offer is one he has needed. He did not study fragmented systems from a distance — he lived inside them, and that gave him a precise picture of what should have existed and never did.
We’re not a reaction to a broken system. We’re the blueprint for what the system should have been.
